McCormicks film highlights the similarities between the subconscious act of graffiti removal with past cannons of painting such as Minimalism, Abstract Expressionism and the Russian Constructavists. Whilst full of bombastic comments about its role and placement in art McCormick raises an interesting question between the difference in funding for 'anti-graffiti' campaigns and for the arts.
